When we look out at the landscape of Haiti’s Central Plateau, we don't just see fields waiting for harvest—we see a generation of young leaders ready to transform their nation. The ultimate goal of God’s ministry has always been to walk out the transformative love of Jesus Christ. True discipleship means locking arms with local believers, and over years of building relationships in many villages, we have witnessed a beautiful movement. A rising group of young men and women love Jesus deeply, desire education, and long to serve.

They simply lack opportunity.

Living in rural Haiti means facing immense barriers to education. The simple path to go to a school - learn - study - grow - graduate… Not so easy if you live here. Only 52% of the students make it to the 9th grade. Only 20% continue beyond that and less than 5% actually graduate from high school. “But God”

Let us introduce you to the real faces behind what we have prayed is God’s plan to move some to a university opportunity:

  • "Grace" dreamed since childhood of becoming a doctor. When her local school stopped offering classes, she refused to quit. She woke up at 4:00 a.m. every day to walk miles under the hot sun, often attending class hungry because her family lacked resources. Today, she is bound for medical school to bring healthcare to the vulnerable.
  • "Samuel" is a passionate church youth leader and worship guitarist who works at our local primary school. He is heading to UCCC to study Computer Science, determined to use technology to uplift his community.
  • "Daniel," the son of a local pastor in a very remote village, overcame severe financial limitations to complete high school and is also pursuing Computer Science, with a deep heart for local business development and job creation.
  • "Elijah," the son of local farmers, fought through intense hardships—even suffering severe stomach illness from studying long hours without food—to keep his education alive. He is entering university to study Diplomacy and International Relations, desiring to represent his country with absolute integrity.

We know this path works because we have walked it before. Years ago, we met a fatherless boy in Port-au-Prince who wanted to be a neurosurgeon. Because our church  community wrapped their arms around him in prayer and support, he went to medical school, passed USMLE boards, trained at JMH, Harvard, and is now a practicing neurosurgeon.

Our student cohort is guided on the ground by "Jean," one of our local primary teachers who is currently in seminary to become a pastor. Every student has signed a solemn covenant before God, their parents, and Jean to live with honesty, reject compromise, and use their education to serve Haiti.

The total financial need is $3,500 USD per student each year. Your prayers and support are the bridge making these dreams a reality. Thank you for walking alongside our Haitian family in Christ.
