DON’T HURT
1 Peter 2:1 ESV
[1] So put away all malice (desire to hurt someone/unforgiving spirit) and all deceit (bait/fish hook/clever words or actions to get what we want) and hypocrisy (actor/misrepresentation of self) and envy (resent others’ prosperity) and all slander (spices/hurtful gossip).
LEARN TO LOVE
1 Peter 2:2-3 ESV
[2] Like newborn (born just now) infants, long for (intense, recurring, insatiable desire) the pure (not diluted or contaminated) spiritual milk (God’s Word), that by it you may grow (only if you drink it) up into salvation (maturity) - [3] if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good (how can you taste Christ and not want more?).
