THE MIND OF CHRIST IS THE BEST WEAPON YOU’VE GOT
1 Peter 4:1a ESV
[1a] Since therefore Christ suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves with the same way of thinking (Word of Christ+Spirit of Christ=Mind of Christ)...
SUFFERING IN THE FLESH CAUSES YOU TO CEASE FROM SIN
1 Peter 4:1b ESV
[1b] ...for whoever has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin (pain to change < pain to stay the same)...
MAKE GOD’S NAME WORTH MORE, NOT LESS
1 Peter 4:2-3 ESV
[2] so as to live for the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for human passions but for the will of God (Pr 24:16). [3] For the time that is past suffices for doing what the Gentiles want to do, living in sensuality (unrestrained vice), passions (sinful), drunkenness (erase conscience), orgies, drinking parties (uncontrolled conduct), and lawless idolatry (worshipping false gods).
YOU DON’T HAVE TO ANSWER FOR/TO OTHERS
1 Peter 4:4-5 ESV
[4] With respect to this they are surprised when you do not join them in the same flood of debauchery, and they malign (slander) you; [5] but they will give account to him who is ready to judge (hold accountable) the living and the dead (as of this writing).
ONE DAY YOUR BATTLE WILL BE OVER AND VICTORY WILL BE WON...FOREVER!
1 Peter 4:6 ESV
[6] For this is why the gospel was preached even to those who are dead (prior to this writing), that though judged in the flesh the way people are (physically die like all people), they might live in the spirit the way God does (live forever with God).

REALIZE THAT SUFFERING IN THE FLESH IS NECESSARY...IT CAUSES YOU TO CEASE FROM SIN
MAKE GOD’S NAME WORTH MORE, NOT LESS
REMEMBER THAT YOU DON’T HAVE TO ANSWER FOR/TO OTHERS
AND ONE DAY YOUR BATTLE WILL BE OVER AND VICTORY WILL BE WON...FOREVER!
